FT. MICHELL, Ky. (Sept. 23, 2014) — Former Kentucky Governor Martha Layne Collins will speak to local businesses about expanding abroad from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 30 at the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association.

Collins, best known for bringing the Toyota plant to Georgetown while she was governor, is serving as ambassador-at-large of international trade for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

Collins works with chambers across the commonwealth to encourage companies to begin or expand exporting efforts, and to educate businesses on the local resources available to help make that happen.
