Event is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday
LEXINGTON, Ky. – (Oct. 9, 2014) — The Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Lexington Center and Rupp Arena.
More than 130 vendors are expected to attend the event, which include live cooking demonstrations and culinary seminars. Product sampling of local and regional Kentucky-made food products, wines from local wineries and craft beer will take place at The Marketplace in the main exhibit hall.
The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, will take center stage in Rupp Arena for two shows at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Drummond will focus on using locally sourced Kentucky Proudingredients to prepare a seasonal meal.
Tickets are $20 and are available in advance through Ticketmaster.com, at the Lexington Center Ticket Office or by calling (859) 233-3535. Children 12 are admitted free.
