LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 6, 2014) – Fifth Third Bank announced it will assist veterans, active duty U.S. military, reservists and their family members with its free Job Seeker’s Toolkit until Dec. 31.
This comprehensive online job search training program is made available from Fifth Third Bank and national reemployment solutions company, NextJob.
The Job Seeker’s Toolkit is NextJob’s exclusive and proprietary online job search software. It is a web-based, multi-media program that facilitates interactive learning through nine job search modules. Fifth Third and NextJob have worked together since 2012 to bring job search assistance to its bank customers and to the general public via its Financial Empowerment Mobiles and special promotions. U.S. Military and veterans can register for the free Job Seeker’s program by visiting the Next Job website (www.nextjobtraining.com).
In addition, Fifth Third Bank (Kentucky) is hosting an employee collection drive for washcloths/bath towels to support the HUD/VASH program. The program is a partnership between VA and the Department of Housing and Urban Development to help homeless Veterans transition into permanent housing. The towels will be used in Home Kits for veterans who do not have access to basic needs for their new home. Fifth Third is also sponsoring commemorative local events that honor past and present servicemen and women.
