Public meeting to focus on Louisville’s proposed minimum wage hike

Scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 7, 2014) — The Metro Council’s Labor and Economic Development Committee has scheduled a public meeting on Louisville’s proposed increases in minimum wage to $10.10 by 2017.

cashThe meeting is at 6 p.m. on Monday in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 601 w. Jefferson St.

There will be 10 slots available for those who wish to speak in favor of the ordinance and 10 slots available for those to speak in opposition. Each person will be allowed to speak for three minutes.
