Consists of exam preparation to acquire a Kentucky mining card
HENDERSON, Ky. (Dec. 8, 2014) — Henderson Community College is offering Initial Underground Mining Class at its Sullivan Technology Center.
The course consists of exam preparation to acquire a Kentucky mining card. Following the training, students must schedule a drug screen and mining exam in Madisonville.
Classes are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Jan. 24, 25, 31 and Feb. 1, 2015. Class is limited to the first 35 students. Out-of-state residents can enroll for $180.
