The team, which will be made up of the best Division III players in the country, will play four matches in Brazil between May 28 and June 2, 2015.

“We all know that Brazil is the mecca of soccer, and being able to be a part of the culture will be a wonderful experience for the players,” Hoffman said. “I know these experiences both on and off the field will make them better athletes and people.”

The team will play three matches in Sao Paolo, competing in doubleheader events along with a team of top Division III men’s players, then play one game in Rio de Janerio.

While in Brazil, the team will experience educational, cultural and social aspects of Brazilian life through city, school and sports club visits. While in Rio de Janerio, the team will be staying on the famous Copacabana Beach and touring the Christ the Redeemer Statue and Sugar Loaf, two of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.

“Our focus as a group will be to slow the moments down and make sure we take in everything we can in our short time together,” Hoffman said. “Let’s go with a purpose and create as many great memories as we can.”
