World Trade Center Kentucky offers international trade certification program

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 6, 2012) – World Trade Center Kentucky announces open enrollment in its International Trade Certification Program for Kentucky’s business community. WTC-KY’s annual program, scheduled for March through June, comprises four individual seminars taught by experienced subject-matter experts, including a consultant from the reputed Economist Intelligence Unit. The program is open to anyone committed to learning facets of international trade. Participants can qualify for International Commerce Specialist certification.

The program builds skills and provides knowledge to drive the future growth of Kentucky’s exports and international business. The seminars cover market research and global marketing; export/import compliance; international payment and export financing; and international legal considerations. Last year’s maiden program attracted professionals in the following sectors: medical, mining, logistics, chemicals, automotive, textiles, consumer goods, food/beverage, industrial machinery and others.
