Items to be given to children in need
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 7, 2015) — Forcht Bank‘s “Warm Hearts” clothing drive led to donations of 5,009 new winter gloves, coats, caps and scarves for children in need.
Donation centers were set up in each of Forcht Bank’s 30 banking center locations across central and southern Kentucky from Nov. 17 to Dec. 31. Donations netted 1,930 pairs of gloves, 2,342 caps, 260 coats, and 477 scarves. Forcht Bank also donated $5,600 to purchase additional new winter clothing.
Distribution of the items began today at School Resource Centers and local charities in the 12 banking markets.
