Sales up 10.7 percent in January 2015 compared to January 2014
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 17, 2015) — The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors reported that sales were up 10.7 percent in January 2015 over January 2014, with 869 units sold in January 2015, compared to 785 units last year.
The average selling price was up 2.8 percent January 2015 compared to January 2014. The median price in Jefferson County was up 3.1 percent and the average was down 1.1 percent.
The inventory of all available properties was 11 percent lower this year than last year, while in Jefferson County availability is down 5.5 percent.
