SOMERSET, Ky. (March 20, 2015) — Officials with The Center for Rural Development and LinGate Hospitality today broke ground on a Courtyard by Marriott hotel to be built adjacent to The Center for Rural Development in Somerset. Construction on the hotel is expected to start this spring and will be completed in the summer of 2016.

The four-story hotel will have 105 guest rooms, 2,300-s.f. of banquet, meeting and pre-function space, a 400-square-foot boardroom, Bistro restaurant and lounge, indoor pool, fitness center, 24-hour market, and business center.

The redesigned state-of-the-art Courtyard lobby features the Bistro café and bar, Starbucks Coffee, and entertainment center and lounge, media pods with televisions, charging stations, and wired and wireless Internet connections, a community table, a brand-signature interactive flat screen “GoBoard” with touch-screen technology featuring weather, local attractions, events, restaurants, and national news.
