Louisville social media contest designed to promote healthy lifestyles

Winners receive tickets to pro soccer season opener

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 23, 2015) — Mayor Greg Fischer this weekend announced #LouisvilleGoalkeeper — a social media contest to celebrate healthy habits throughout the city.

LCFC-Shield1-e1424723970893Five winners will receive two tickets to the Louisville City FC season opener — the first regular season game since the professional soccer franchise moved to Louisville.

Fischer encouraged people to share photos, videos or even poems about how they stay active.

“Whether they are jogging laps around the soccer field where their children are practicing, taking stairs instead of the elevator at work, or skateboarding to school, we know Louisvillians go out of their way every day to stay active,” Fischer said. “We want to highlight that, share ideas – and give away some great soccer tickets at the same time.”
