Annual security conference to be held at Murray State University

MURRAY, Ky. (April 9, 2015) — The largest technology security conference in the region, the Patterns of Distinction-Security Matters Conference, is scheduled for April 23 at Murray State University.

UnknownThis year’s keynote speaker is Craig Jacobs, director of incident response and problem management, MGM Resorts International. Jacobs received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Murray State University in 2005 and 2006.

Other speakers include representatives from Ashland Inc., HCA, AirTight Networks, Peel & Holland, Computer Services Inc., CISCO and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The conference is free and is aimed at small businesses and information technology professionals. Industry experts will share information on a variety of security-based topics.
