National Drug Control Policy Director Michael Botticelli to Visit Lexington
WASHINGTON, D.D. (April 22, 2015) – Congressman Andy Barr (KY-6) will host White House National Drug Control Policy Director Michael Botticelli for a roundtable discussion with regional leaders and stakeholders in Lexington on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 9 a.m.
The roundtable event will be held at the George Privett Recovery Center for Men; 250 West Louden Ave. in Lexington and the discussion will focus on best practices in addressing the growing drug pandemic in central and eastern Kentucky, particularly the growing use of heroin. Botticelli will have the opportunity to hear firsthand from those on the front lines of this effort in Kentucky, and share his experiences, ideas, and recommendations.
Barr and Botticelli will tour the Hope Center at approximately 10:30 a.m.
