DANVILLE, Ky. (May 19, 2015) — Dr. Patrick Noltemeyer has been appointed to serve as the chief planning officer at Centre College, a title he assumes in addition to his current role as special assistant to the president for institutional research and special events. He began his duties as chief planning officer in April.

A native of Louisville, Noltemeyer earned a B.S. degree at Centre with a major in psychology in 2001, followed by an M.A. degree in education from the University of Kentucky in 2004. He went on to receive his doctorate in higher education, graduating from the University of Louisville in December 2014. His graduate work focused on higher education administration and student personnel.

After graduating from Centre, Noltemeyer began his career at the University of Kentucky, serving for one year as a residence hall director, followed by a similar role at Georgetown College. He returned to Centre in 2003, first as director of Greek life, and then director of volunteer service and coordinator of the Bonner Program. He was promoted in 2008 to associate dean of students and director of community service and the Bonner Program. He assumed the role of special assistant to the president for institutional research and special events in 2013.
