GreenSky to open new facility in Kenton County

Will create up to 200 new jobs

FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 28, 2015) — Gov. Steve Beshear today announced that GreenSky Trade Credit LLC plans to move into a new facility in Kenton County and create up to 200 new positions over the next several years — more than tripling its number of current employees in the state.

greenGreenSky, a leading technology company offering consumer finance solutions for home improvement projects and other major purchases, also is expected to invest approximately $7 million into the project.

GreenSky will move from its current facility in Covington into a 20,000-s.f. operation on Chancellor Drive in neighboring Crestview Hills. The new facility, which is expected to be open in October, will allow the company to expand its customer service operations.

GreenSky’s unique technology enables point-of-sale payment and credit programs designed to assist merchants in increasing sales and enabling homeowners to complete important projects and purchases. Its revolutionary mobile app makes the process paperless, fast and easy.

The Atlanta-based company has operated in the commonwealth since 2013 and currently employs approximately 65 Kentuckians.
