SELLERSBURG, Ind. (June 8, 2015) — Two Sellersburg companies, Century Industries LLC and Weber Group Inc., have announced plans to expand their operations in southeast Indiana’s Clark County.
Century Industries, LLC manufactures mobile stages, mobile bleacher seating, mobile grandstands, food concession trailers and portable ticket booths for community events nationwide.
Century Industries LLC is considering plans that include a building and equipment expansion to facilitate increased production in its current product lines, as well as to continue development of new products. The company’s proposed expansion and retention project would include a capital investment of more than $1 million and would result in the creation of approximately 15 new full-time positions. This would come on top of the 36 existing jobs which would be retained, representing a total annual payroll of more than $2.3 million dollars.
Weber Group Inc. is considering plans to expand their operation in the Sellersburg Industrial Park in order to meet the growing demands of their national client base in the culture, leisure and entertainment sectors. The company provides architecture and construction management, specialty fabrications, and manufacturing.
Weber Group Inc. anticipates the company could invest more than $1.6 million to expand, renovate and equip its Sellersburg facility. In addition to this investment, their plans would include adding 25 new positions by 2018 to the current 78 employees, representing a total annual payroll of more than $5.6 million.
