LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 16, 2015) — A team from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School was the junior varsity runner-up in PACE’s 2015 National Scholastic Championship, held June 6-7 in Reston, Va. This group included Hannah Wang, Zsombor Gal, Thirushan Wigna-Kumar, David Ma and Ananth Murthy-Miller.

In the year’s finale, the Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence (PACE) pitted 95 teams that qualified via regional contests throughout 2014-2015. Students fielded questions from all content areas to determine the national varsity, small school and JV champions.

Last summer, Dunbar’s JV team placed fourth nationally.
