Gov. Beshear orders flags to half-staff on Monday to honor fallen state trooper

FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 26, 2015) — Gov. Steve Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff Monday in honor of a Kentucky State Police trooper killed in the line of duty.

Eric Chrisman was responding to a complaint of a reckless driver on June 23 when he was involved in a fatal collision.

Chrisman, of Lawrenceburg, graduated from the state police training academy in January and was assigned to Lyon County, in the Post 1 District.

Services for Trooper Chrisman will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Ninevah Christian Church, 1195 Ninevah Road in Lawrenceburg.
