The website uses student evaluations to rank programs in 15 areas: Academic competitiveness; affordability of living; campus safety; education quality, faculty accessibility and support; financial aid; grad program value; quality of network; school use of technology; social life; student diversity; surrounding area; transportation; and workload.

Schools are then given a grade on a scale of 1-10. UofL scored an 8.94, finishing just ahead of the University of California-San Francisco, University of Iowa, University of Florida, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Texas A&M, Harvard University, University of the Pacific and Meharry Medicaly College.

UofL scored its highest rankings in career support, education quality and program value.

“It is gratifying to know that students at the UofL School of Dentistry value their experience in the program, even if it is from a limited sampling,” said John Sauk, D.D.S., dean of the UofL School of Dentistry. “In any case, we will persevere to continually seek to improve the quality of our educational programs and develop the empathy and skills of the professionals we educate.”
