Historic Properties Advisory Commission website adds public comment section

kydhp2Taking comments on Jefferson Davis statue until July 29

FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 29, 2015) — The Historic Properties Advisory Commission has updated its website to include a public comment form for anyone interested in providing input on all statues in the Capitol Rotunda regarding their historic, social and educational context.

The commission made the form available after deciding to take public comment on the Jefferson Davis statue that currently resides in the Capitol Rotunda. Comments will be taken until July 29. The commission will hold a special meeting on Aug. 5.
