Impact Northern Kentucky announces leadership classes

FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (July 6, 2015) — Impact Northern Kentucky, a nonprofit of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, has announced the Leadership Northern Kentucky (LNK) and Regional Youth Leadership (RYL) classes of 2016.

cahmberPrograms are designed to help a diverse group of potential, emerging, and existing community leaders acquire an understanding of the strengths and challenges of the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area, and the skills necessary to motivate and engage others in collaborative efforts to address them.

The 51 participants of the LNK Class of 2016 will participate in the eight-month long program representing a cross section of the community, including business, government, education, media, non-profit agencies, health services and community organizations.

The RYL Class of 2016 is comprised of 48 students representing 38 different high schools in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Throughout the eight-month program, RYL unites these young leaders so that they may identify, develop, refine, and practice their leadership skills in order to become catalysts for change. Students participating in Regional Youth Leadership are presented with new challenges and opportunities for intellectual, creative, social and personal growth.
