‘The Color House’ now has two locations
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 8, 2015) — DDW “The Color House” has expanded operations, announcing the opening of its second site in Louisville for manufacturing food ingredients.
The new facility, located on Spring Street, will produce specialty colorings for leading food and beverage companies.
The new operation features DDW’s emulsion technology. It converts color sources such as beta-carotene and paprika from their intrinsic, oil-soluble form to a water-dispersible form for coloring beverages, soup, ice cream, candy, cake and other foods. In addition to state-of-the-art manufacturing, the 6,500-s.f. facility includes a pilot plant, cold storage and offices.
