Expansion will create 32 new jobs

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (July 8, 2015) — A&R Logistics, Inc. announced plan to relocate from its 80,000-s.f. facility to a larger 175,000- s.f. facility in the River Ridge Commerce Center.

arA&R will invest more than $3.9 million in the facility over the next five years and plans to hire 32 full-time employees.

Jerry Acy, executive director of the River Ridge Commerce Center, said, “River Ridge is glad to be getting a new tenant, adding to the diversity of the commerce here.  Having a new facility under construction is indicative of the growing success of the River Ridge Commerce Center and the attractiveness of our area.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) offered A&R Logistics, Inc. up to $300,000 in Economic Development for a Growing Economy (“EDGE”) conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.
