Greater Louisville Inc hires EnterpriseCorp engagement director

Amelia Gandara has been hired as the director of commercialization and engagement at GLI’s EnterpriseCorp.

Louisville, Ky. – Amelia Gandara has been named the director of commercialization and engagement for Greater Louisville Inc.’s EnterpriseCorp.

EnterpriseCorp is the entrepreneurial arm of Greater Louisville Inc. that nurtures a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and culture for small, early and second stage fast growth firms.

In this role, Gander will perform business development and engagement by acting as a liaison between local universities and the business community. Additionally, the position will manage the Vogt Invention and Innovation Awards, which target the manufacturing and hardware sector to help startup ideas and products develop into viable and successful enterprises. Gandara will also work to connect the business community with various accelerators in an effort to increase the engagement between the entrepreneurial community and business leadership.

Previously, Gandara worked with GE’s FirstBuild and Marathon Petroleum. She is the co-founder for Louisville Ballet’s Relevé Society and in Winter 2014, her team won the Louisville Startup Weekend.
