Louisville Convention Bureau names new director of marketing

Louisville, Ky. – The Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) has announced the promotion of Zack Davis to director of marketing. In his new position, Davis will be responsible for the overall advertising, branding and marketing strategies of the bureau and Louisville as a meetings and conventions and leisure travel destination.

Before his promotion, Davis worked as a convention services manager, a position he has had since coming to the LCVB in September 2008.  Prior to working at the LCVB, Davis was an in-park supervisor at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom.  He also served in the United States Marine Corps for six years, 2003 – 2009.

Davis is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a BS in Communications. The promotion is effective July 20, 2015.
