Hiring dates announced for Kentucky State Fair jobs

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 30, 2015) — Hiring for Kentucky State Fair temporary employees begins on Aug. 10. More than 750 temporary employees are hired for the duration of the 11-day event. The 2015 Kentucky State Fair is from August 20-30 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

The Kentucky State Fair positions include ticket sellers, gate attendants, maintenance, grounds, housekeeping and tram drivers. Wages now start at $10.10 an hour. Applicants must be 18 years old and provide proper identification to verify work eligibility, such as photo ID and a Social Security Card.
