LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 11) — Jim Morris has joined Central Bank of Jefferson County as vice president, private banking officer, Luther Deaton, Jr chairman, president and CEO of Central Bank announced on Tuesday.

Morris has nearly 30 years of banking experience. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications. He currently lives in Louisville with his wife and their two children.

Central Bank of Jefferson County is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Central Bancshares, Inc. in Lexington. Central Bancshares operates 26 banking offices and 36 ATMs in Boone, Clark, Fayette, Jefferson, Jessamine, Kenton, Madison, and Scott counties.
