Free Southern Indiana seminar will focus on knee and hip pain

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (Aug. 13, 2015) — Clark Memorial Hospital Center for Orthopedics and Spine will host a free education seminar on the treatment of knee and hip pain on Sept. 3 at noon in the lower level conference center.

clarkDr. John Lindner, Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon will lead the seminar on topics such as an explanation of the causes of knee and hip pain, the importance of a proper diagnosis and a discussion of both conservative and surgical treatment options.

Additional information will be available on Clark Memorial’s Fast Track Joint Replacement program. The new program is designed to provide every joint replacement patient with lower risk, less discomfort and a faster recovery through education, advanced pain management, minimally invasive surgical techniques, comprehensive after care and the comfort of having a nurse navigator to guide patients through the entire process.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, meet the orthopedic staff, and enjoy preferred scheduling for an individual physician consultation, if they would like. A light lunch will be provided.
