Community Arts Center adds two new board members

DANVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 17, 2015) — The Community Arts Center has added two new board members—Alethea Price and Larry Hensley. Hensley is president and publisher at Advocate Communications, Inc. and is a member of Rotary International. Price is a county agent for Family and Consumer Sciences and also serves a board member for the Boyle County Farmer’s Market Advisory Board and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Board.

danvilleartsBoard responsibilities include acting as an advocate for the Arts Center in the community, determining and promoting the mission and goals of the Arts Center and monitoring and providing financial oversight of the Arts Center.

Returning board members are Steve Griffin, Dr. Barbara Hall, Matt Sirasky, Jennifer Ahnquist, Dr. Tom Baeker, Gary Barkman, Margo Goodwin, Amanda Hendershot, Steven A. Hoffman, Niki Kinkade, Barbara Lockhart, Christopher J. Tucker and Sarah Wiltsee.

Current exhibits are:

  • The Kitchen is Close — Karen Tubb

Exhibits, which are free and open to the public through August, are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
