J. Alexander’s coming to new Lexington development The Summit at Fritz Farm

Lexington, Ky. – J. Alexander’s Holdings, LLC, owner and operator of its award-winning J. Alexander’s casual dining collection, has announced plans to bring an upscale restaurant to Lexington, with an opening planned in October 2016.

Lonnie J. Stout II, president and CEO of J. Alexander’s Holdings, LLC, said the new J. Alexander’s restaurant will be located in The Summit at Fritz Farm at the Northeast corner of Man O’ War Boulevard and Nicholasville Road.

The J. Alexander’s restaurant will be approximately 8,100 square feet with seating for more than 220 guests, and will employ an operating staff of approximately 100 full and part-time professionals.

“We’re extremely pleased to announce plans for our newest J. Alexander’s restaurant with a unique architectural design for the Lexington market,” Stout said. “For quite some time, we have been interested in identifying a premier site in Lexington for our J. Alexander’s concept, and we’re looking forward to being an integral part of The Summit at Fritz Farm.”

Known for its wood-fired cuisine, the J. Alexander’s menu features a wide selection of American classics – steaks, prime rib of beef and fresh seafood, along with a large assortment of interesting salads, sandwiches and desserts.

The Lexington J. Alexander’s restaurant will be designed by Shea Design & Architects of Minneapolis, Minn. The firm specializes in the design and engineering of restaurant and hospitality facilities, and has created architectural designs for restaurants in the J. Alexander’s collection since 2014.

Operating hours for the new J. Alexander’s in The Summit at Fritz Farm will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
