National hemp conference coming to Lexington

Lexington, Ky – Hemp Industries Association, a national nonprofit hemp advocacy organization, will be hosting its national conference in Lexington, Ky.

The 22nd annual conference is scheduled for Sept. 27 – 29. Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner James Comer is a confirmed keynote speaker.

“Due to the fast growth of the industry following the passage of the Farm Bill and subsequent hemp pilot programs, this conference is expected to be the largest in HIA history,” the organization’s website says.

The conference includes expert speakers, exhibits, a hemp farm tour, and a silent auction.
