Will work in downtown Lexington office
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 25, 2015) — Matthew R. Galbraith has been named vice president, investment sales officer for Community Trust and Investment Company, president and CEO Andy D. Waters announced.
As a key member of the new business development team, Galbraith’s responsibilities include initiating new relationships with high net worth individuals and institutions for actively managed fee-based business. He will work with prospects and new clients of Community Trust’s Wealth and Trust Management (WTM) team and effectively communicate the Company’s capabilities. He will also initiate relationships with external partners such as CPAs, attorneys and other individuals that will enhance the Company’s business development efforts.
Galbraith will stay current on investment trends, general market and business news, as well as legal and financial planning issues to continue WTM’s level of client service. His office is located in downtown Lexington.
Galbraith graduated from Paris High School. He earned a Bachelor’s of Finance Administration degree from the University of Kentucky and has more than 11 years of experience in the banking industry, nine of which are in the wealth management industry.
