Gateway holding enrollment for 8 and 12-week classes

First session begins Sept. 14

FLORENCE, Ky. (Aug. 27, 2015) — Gateway Community and Technical College is enrolling now for its 8-week and 12-week sessions. The 12-week session begins Sept. 14 and the 8-week session begins Oct. 12.

gatewayGateway offers a wide variety of majors that prepare students for high-wage, high-demand jobs in currently hiring industries, such as manufacturing, information technology, business and emerging new fields in health care.

“We encourage anyone who wants to make 2015 a year to get a fresh start on the future to enroll in the 8 or 12-week sessions,” said Andre Washington, Gateway dean of enrollment services. “Classes are offered at Gateway campuses in Edgewood, Florence, the Urban Metro Center, downtown Covington, and automotive courses are offered at the Covington campus on Amsterdam Road.”

“Gateway is an affordable and quality pathway to high paying careers or completing the first two years of a four-year degree,” Washington said. “Our credits transfer, enabling students to save 50 percent of the cost of a four-year degree at any public university in Kentucky. Plus, we offer free parking and free bus transportation to all of our campuses, via a partnership with the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky. Those benefits further reduce a student’s college expenses.”

Gateway was named one of the Top 25 Online Colleges in the nation and online classes enable students to attend college anytime, anywhere.
