Inventor-Con 2015 to be held in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 8, 2015) — The Central Kentucky Inventors Council (CKIC), a nonprofit organization helping inventors and entrepreneurs, will host Inventor-Con 2015 on Oct. 6th at the Central Public Library in Lexington. The event is free and open to the public.

ckicThis year’s event will feature workshop/breakout sessions, with experts speaking about topics ranging from funding to prototyping to patenting. There will also be a Young Inventors Program for students and exhibits of inventions and innovations from Kentucky and elsewhere.

Noted inventor and author Stephen Key will be the keynote speaker.

“This event is now one of the largest of it’s kind in the Midwest”, said Don Skaggs, CKIC president. “Inventors and entrepreneurs from all over the country come to Lexington to be a part of this.”
