Alma mater will host screening party Sunday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 9, 2015) — Clark Davis will represent the state of Kentucky on Sunday in the Miss America Pageant.
Davis is a 2014 graduate of Lafayette High School. Her alma mater is hosting a party at 7 p.m. The party will help help raise money to support her platform, Dyslexia Awareness. Davis is one of the only contestants in this year’s program to lend her support to a special education cause.
Admission is free and donations will be accepted for Dyslexia Awareness.
Live music from Lafayette student performers will be held on the front lawn. There will be a Step Team performance in Beeler Auditorium
Food will be available for purchase. The Miss America Pageant will be telecast in Beeler Auditorium beginning at 9 p.m.
