Scheduled for Nov. 12-13
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Sept. 9, 2015) — The Kentucky Arts Council has several sponsorship opportunities available for the Creative Industry Summit. The event is scheduled from Nov. 12-13 at the Owensboro Convention Center.
The format has expanded from one to two days. One day of pre-summit workshops will take place on Nov. 12.
The summit’s goal is to strengthen the creative industry’s profile among local and state civic and business leaders in Kentucky. The Creative Industry Summit also will provide learning and networking opportunities to industry stakeholders, technical assistance and resource providers, and community and economic developers.
The event will include a report on the progress and growth of Kentucky’s creative industry since the Kentucky Creative Industry Report was released in December 2014.
“We are expecting at least 200 participants from across the state at this second annual event, so sponsor visibility will be high,” said Lori Meadows, arts council executive director. “These are individuals who are leaders in their communities and will carry ideas back to where they live. Any summit sponsor would have the eyes and ears of the event participants.”
