KCTCS hires three new directors in its Versailles System Office

Versailles, Ky. – The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) is announcing three new employees at its System Office in Versailles.

Melissa Jones has been named director of Accounting. She previously served as associate vice president of Business Services at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Morehead State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky.  She is a certified public accountant.

Esther Wangeci has been named director of strategic engagement/change management in the Change and Project Management Office. She previously was on a long-term assignment for KCTCS through Summit 7 Systems in Huntsville, Ala. Wangeci earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Kentucky State University.

Doug Cleary has accepted the position of system director of Financial Aid. Cleary has 28 years of experience in the higher education/financial aid field. He served as financial aid director at three institutions, as a regional vice president for Chase Student Lending and a manager for strategic partnerships at American Student Assistance.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla.
