EKU to host gubernatorial debate on Sunday

Doors open at 5 p.m.

RICHMOND, Ky. (Oct. 22, 2015) — One of the final gubernatorial debates between Republican Matt Bevin and Democrat Jack Conway will take place on Sunday at Eastern Kentucky University. The event, hosted by the League of Women Voters of Kentucky, will air on CBS affiliates WLKY-TV of Louisville and WKYT-TV of Lexington. WKYT anchor and political editor Bill Bryant and WLKY anchor Vicki Dortch will lead the hour-long discussion of key issues impacting Kentuckians. League policy will be followed.

Doors for the debate open at 5 p.m. and seating ends when theater doors close promptly at 5:30 p.m.

The final debate is scheduled for Monday on Kentucky Tonight. The General Election is Nov. 3.
