Louisville, Ky. – GE Appliances has been awarded an exclusive partnership with Shea Homes, one of the nation’s oldest and largest homebuilders, to provide its GE Profile, Café and Monogram appliances for all new construction as Shea expands its footprint across the country.

“Shea Homes places the utmost importance on homebuyer satisfaction, quality, and dependable customer service,” said John Boyd, general manager, GE Contract Sales. “Those are values that GE Appliances shares—and we’re honored to be a part of Shea Homes’ promise to its customers in each of the thousands of homes it will build over the next several years.”

Shea Homes continues to expand throughout California, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Nevada, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Texas, serving the needs of discerning home buyers across these markets.

“We pride ourselves in our commitment to our customers and that requires strong partnerships with our suppliers,” said Bert Selva, President and CEO, Shea Homes. “GE was selected due to its experience, dependable delivery and installation services, and a broad offering of quality appliances appealing to homeowners across all buyer segments.”

Shea Homes is an affiliate of J.F. Shea Co., Inc., established in 1881 as a small plumbing company to become one of the largest civil contractors and one of the largest home builders in the country. The Shea family’s legacy dots the American landscape with their contributions to major projects such as the Golden Gate Bridge, the Hoover Dam and the Bay Area Rapid Transit System (BART).

“A long, rich history of providing quality products to homeowners is something that GE and Shea Homes share, and we’ll continue to do just that through this renewed partnership,” Boyd added.

GE is the number one supplier of major appliances to U.S. homebuilders. In addition to a strong lineup of brands, GE offers builders high-tech solutions to streamline the purchasing and communications process and is backed by 1,200 factory service technicians and a nationwide delivery network.
