Jefferson County Public Schools hires HR chief

Louisville, Ky. – Jefferson County Public Schools has hired Tiffeny Armour as the district’s head of human resources division, effective immediately.

Armour has been JCPS’ director of administrator recruitment and development since 2011.

“(Armour) will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality diverse staff of JCPS teachers and administrators with the knowledge and skills to ensure the highest academic achievement for all JCPS students,” according to a press release about the hire.

Before working in JCPS’ HR department, Armour was the principal of Semple Elementary for six years and previously was a JCPS elementary school teacher and instructional coach. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Louisville, as well as two master’s degrees from UofL.
