Lexington, Ky. – Goodwill Industries of Kentucky has hired Lori Huff Collins as vice president of program services for the state’s east region.
Based in Lexington, Collins is charged with growing Goodwill’s employment services and job training and preparation programs in 61 counties that make up the eastern half of Goodwill’s territory in Kentucky.
Collins most recently worked for Kentucky’s Office of Employment and Training where she had oversight for U.S. Department of Labor-funded employment and training programs. She also previously worked for the Bluegrass Area Development District, serving the 17-county workforce development board.
Since 1993, she has been involved with workforce development programs, including those that support targeted populations such as individuals with disabilities and recipients of public assistance.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to work for Goodwill and help to create opportunities for economic prosperity for all Kentuckians,” Collins said.
