EKU offering First Line Supervision Certificate Program

RICHMOND, Ky. (Jan. 6, 2016) — Eastern Kentucky University’s Center for Career and Workforce Development is offering a First Line Supervision Certificate Program. The course is geared towards helping new supervisors develop the technical skills required in their field and helping improve their ability to get work accomplished through others.

The three-day Basic Core Concepts I course will be offered in Richmond on Feb. 2, 9 and 16 and in Corbin on Feb. 4, 11 and 18. Participants can then select an additional 18 hours (three days) of elective courses to complete the Basic Supervision Certificate program. The courses may be taken as part of the certificate program or as a stand-along professional development activity.
