Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky adds new Community Advisory Committee members

Four new members named

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 15, 2016) — The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky has named Matt Minier, Melissa Slone, Michael Keck, and Randy Gooch new members of its Community Advisory Committee (CAC). CAC is one of the Foundation’s two guiding bodies.

CAC is a group of 31 Kentucky residents who advise the Foundation Board regarding policy direction and adherence to mission, serve as a link with communities throughout the commonwealth and appoint/nominate new members to the Foundation Board of Directors.

New members are:

  • UnknownMatt Minier, of Louisville, is the director of student success at Southern Seminary. He oversees student and academic services and leads the institution’s student retention efforts.
  • Melissa Slone, of Redfox, is the program coordinator for the University Of Kentucky College of Social Work off campus Southeast Kentucky MSW programs located in Hazard and Prestonsburg.
  • Michael Keck, of Science Hill, is the vice president of Five Talents Financial Group, a mid-market investment banking firm that advises clients on the acquisition or sale of privately held companies. He is also a candidate for Kentucky State Senate in district 15.
  • Randy Gooch, of Nicholasville, is the public health director for the Jessamine County Health Department. Before beginning his public health career in 2001 he worked in the home health care industry as a financial manager for twelve years.
