University Club of Cincinnati names new president

Will oversee general management

CINCINNATI, Ohio (Jan. 28, 2016) — Jim Singler has been named the president of the University Club of Cincinnati. Sigler, partner of estate planning and succession at Calfee, Halter & Griswold law firm in Cincinnati, will oversee the University Club’s general management, the facility, and its artwork.

“It’s an honor to be named president of the University Club,” said Singler. “This is an opportunity to both continue and build on the club’s rich history of providing an environment that allows members to meet and network among the most influential people in the community.”

Singler is an experienced leader involved in various organizations within the Greater Cincinnati community. Currently, he serves on the Board of Portrait of a Soul, general counsel for the Patients of The Heartland Homecare Hospice, as well as a member of the board of governors for the University Club of Cincinnati. Additionally, he is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council, where he serves on the board of directors. He serves on the board of directors of the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council.

His previous leadership roles include serving on the boards of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati, the Mariemont School Foundation, Family Service of Cincinnati, a member of the board of trustees for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and general counsel and treasurer for the Indian Hill Club.
