Gov. Bevin makes appointments to state Judicial Nominating Commissions

Makes five nominations

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 5, 2016) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made appointments to state Judicial Nominating Commissions.

To the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 43rd Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky:

  • Walter Adams Mansfield, of Glasgow, whose term expires Jan. 1, 2020. Mansfield replaces Sam Bulle, of Glasgow, whose term has expired.
  • David McKay Dickerson, of Glasgow, whose term expires Jan. 1, 2020. Dickerson replaces Tamara B. Martin, of Glasgow, whose term has expired.
  • Tamara Branstetter Martin, of Glasgow, whose term expires Jan. 1, 2018. Martin replaces Patrick Gaunce, of Glasgow.

To the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 47th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky:

  • Paul Thomas Greer, of Jenkins, whose term expires Jan. 1, 2020. Greer replaces Sherry Lynn Wright, whose term has expired.
  • Bennett Combs, of Whitesburg, whose term expires Jan. 1, 2020. Combs replaces Kernel E. Sexton, of Whitesburg, whose term has expired.
