Kentucky Nonprofit Network adds new member to board of directors

Board now consists of nine members

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 25, 2016) — Chris Chaffin of Lexington, has been elected to the Kentucky Nonprofit Network (KNN) board of directors. KNN is the state association of nonprofit organizations.

Chaffin is the vice president and private client services officer for Traditional Bank and has been with the company since 1998.

Chaffin is a 1991 graduate of Transylvania University, a 2000 graduate of Leadership Lexington and 2006 graduate of the American Bankers Association (ABA) Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Washington, D.C. He also serves on the boards of directors of the Child Care Council of Kentucky, Young Life, Pleasant Green Educational Corporation, Shepherd’s House and Henry Clay Women’s Soccer Academy.

The 2016 board members are: Marian Guinn, chair (CEO, God’s Pantry Food Bank); Eileen O’Brien, vice-chair (partner, Stoll Keenon Ogden); Steve Jennings, CPA, treasurer (partner, Crowe Horwath); Hollie Spade, secretary (regional director of external and legislative affairs, AT&T); Chris Chaffin (vice president, private client services, Traditional Bank); Russell Harper, public policy committee chair (senior vice president of government relations, Aetna); Brian Roy (deputy executive director, Kentucky Association of Counties); Stu Silberman (retired education ddministrator and executive firector, Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence); and Danielle Clore, ex officio (executive director/CEO, Kentucky Nonprofit Network).
