Demonstrations will show how to safely install car seats
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (March 3, 2016) — Clark Memorial Hospital Family Birth Place will hold its annual Baby Fair from 9 a.m. to noon on April 2 in Southern Indiana.
The event includes exhibitors, pregnancy and baby health information, educational sessions, tours of the Family Birth Place and giveaways. A new feature this year will have child passenger safety technicians in the hospital parking lot demonstrating how to safely install child car seats and to answer questions concerning child safety in a car.
In addition to community exhibitors, Clark Memorial Hospital will host health information booths on birthing options, breastfeeding, prenatal classes, infant safety, infant care accessories, childhood development and more.
Local obstetricians, midwives, doulas and pediatricians also will be on hand to meet and ask questions.
Two special educational sessions will be offered:
- 9:30 a.m. — Customize your birth experience, birthing options offered at the Family Birth Place
- 10:30a.m. — Q&A with Clark Memorial labor and delivery nurses
