LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 14, 2015) — Louisville’s favorite place to gather in the spring as the community celebrates “Derby Week” has just announced its free concert line-up.The Kentucky Derby Festival’s Waterfront Jam returns on Thursday, April 28, at Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville.
The concert series includes over 30 local and regional bands and 7 national concerts on two stages. Admission to all shows is free with a 2016 Pegasus Pin. The Waterfront Jam concerts on the Great Stage include:
· Easton Corbin with special guest Granger Smith featuring Earl Dibbles Jr. on Friday, April 29 at 8 p.m. Media Sponsor: 97.5 WAMZ
Easton Corbin has taken the country music industry by storm with hits “A Little More Country Than That, “Roll with It,” and with his most recent single, “Yup.” Opening the show is Granger Smith, who will swoon crowds will his single, “Backroad Song.”
· Magic! on Saturday, April 30 at 9 p.m. Media Sponsor: 102.3 The Max
Magic! with his platinum single, “Rude,” will bring upbeat, reggae sounds to the Great Stage. Dance away the weekend to other hits including “Let Your Hair Down” and “No Way No.”
· Celebration Sunday featuring Matt Maher, John Tibbs, and Hannah Kerr on Sunday, May 1 at 5 p.m. Media Sponsor: 88.5 WJIE
With Maher’s hit single “Because He Lives (Amen),” Tibbs’ single “Dead Man Walking,” and Kerr’s single “I Stand Here,” the concert is one not to miss.
