UK basketball to play Stony Brook at 9:40 p.m. Thursday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 14, 2016) — The schedule has been announced for the NCAA Tourney, with Kentucky playing Stony Brook at about 9:40 p.m. on Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa. The game will be played on CBS. The Kentucky game will begin 30 minutes after the game between Indiana and Chattanooga, scheduled for 7:10 p.m., also on CBS.

The winners of the Kentucky/Stony Brook and Indiana/Chattanooga games will play on Saturday, also in Des Moines.

Kentucky (26-8) earned a No. 4 seed, while Stony Brook (26-6) which is making its first ever appearance in the tournament, earned a No. 13 seed.

No other Kentucky school is playing in the tournament.

The women’s bracket will be unveiled tonight.
