FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 1, 2016) – The Council on Postsecondary Education will sponsor the fifth annual Kentucky Student Success Summit April 4-5 at the Louisville Marriott East.
The theme of the summit, “Student Success Game Changers: Practical and Proven Strategies for Elevating Your Student Success Game,” will offer higher education faculty, staff and administrators best practices for improving adult student success rates, increasing student retention, fostering inclusive environments and strengthening learning through signature assignments.
The agenda includes presentations by the following nationally known speakers:
• Elizabeth Capaldi Phillips, Provost Emerita of Arizona State University
• Freeman Hrabowski, President of University of Maryland, Baltimore County and chair of President Obama’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for African Americans
